Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the restaurant team in delivering exceptional guest experiences at The Red Sea EDITION. This full‑time, onsite position ensures smooth daily operations, maintains high service standards, and upholds the brand’s reputation for quality and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staff to work as a cohesive team, ensuring optimal service and guest satisfaction.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire, correcting any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
• Maintain organized storage areas using FIFO principles and conduct regular inventories.
• Monitor dining room seating, service flow, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Complete work orders for maintenance and oversee minor repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and security protocols.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant restaurant or food‑and‑beverage experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and navigating confined spaces.
