About the role
The Bell Captain leads the guest arrival, departure and in‑house movement experience at Raffles The Red Sea, ensuring every interaction is warm, efficient and elegant. This senior role combines hands‑on service with team leadership to uphold the iconic Raffles service culture.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all guest arrival, departure and luggage handling, recognising VIPs, repeat guests and special occasions.
- Lead, coach and supervise Bell Attendants, Doormen and related staff, conducting daily briefings and ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
- Coordinate closely with Front Desk, Concierge, Guest Relations, Valet and Security to guarantee seamless operations.
- Maintain luggage storage areas, logbooks and tracking systems, preventing loss or damage.
- Handle special arrangements for VIPs, groups, long‑stay guests and events, and support service recovery when needed.
- Uphold Raffles grooming, etiquette and communication standards, and ensure compliance with safety, security and confidentiality policies.
Required profile
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Bell Services or Front Office within a luxury or five‑star hotel.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management is an advantage.
