Corporate Affairs Manager – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced Corporate Affairs Manager to lead external relations, government engagement, and corporate communications across Saudi Arabia. This strategic position protects and enhances the company’s reputation while ensuring compliance with local regulations and stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with government entities, regulators, and licensing bodies.
• Monitor regulatory changes, advise leadership on impacts, and ensure compliance with Saudi laws and Saudization requirements.
• Act as primary contact for external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry bodies, and strategic partners.
• Represent the company at meetings, forums, and events.
• Develop and execute the external communication strategy, overseeing press releases, media relations, and public announcements.
• Protect and enhance corporate image, manage reputational risks, and lead crisis communications.
• Drive CSR initiatives aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and ensure ESG compliance where applicable.
• Provide internal advisory on political, regulatory, market entry, and risk mitigation matters.

Required profile

• 8–15 years of experience in corporate affairs, government relations, or communications.
• Strong experience working in Saudi Arabia (essential).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Relations, Political Science, Law, or a related field.
• Extensive network with Saudi government officials and regulators.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (preferred).
