Customer Implementation Specialist

About the role

The Customer Implementation Specialist will develop and administer customer operations plans to ensure efficient logistics processes across multimodal transport. Working closely with the sales team, you will support the execution of the business strategy while maintaining compliance with corporate guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Execute customer operations plans and processes to deliver efficient logistics solutions.
• Manage and update orders received via the system, including special and non‑assigned orders.
• Ensure smooth flow of goods and information across the customer’s global supply chain and resolve order or delivery issues.
• Support the sales team with quotations, exception deal management, account overviews, billing corrections, and other operational requests.
• Deliver cartage tours, monitor profitability, service quality and timelines.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries, conduct visits and understand requirements.
• Track capacity utilization and optimise usage according to objectives.
• Report operational issues to management and keep systems updated with product shortages, delivery dates and price changes.
• Draft reports on customer inquiries, sales trends, complaints, delivery problems and evaluate operational performance.
• Collaborate with logistics operations, customer service and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
