DevOps Engineer I

About the role

Mozn is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented DevOps Engineer I to join its growing engineering team in Riyadh. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career professional to work on modern cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines supporting AI workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable infrastructures for AI workloads across cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Manage cloud deployments, virtual‑machine setups, and on‑premise infrastructure build‑outs.
• Deploy and maintain containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or Ansible.
• Develop observability frameworks for monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Ensure system security, scalability, and compliance with Saudi regulations.
• Collaborate with software and data engineering teams to build fault‑tolerant AI solutions.
• Handle incident response, root‑cause analysis, and establish SRE standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI, Azure) and interest in multi‑cloud/hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes concepts through projects, labs, or internships.
• Exposure to on‑premises or virtualization technologies (VMware, VirtualBox, Proxmox) and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and ability to interpret dashboards/logs.
• Foundational scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
