DevSecOps / Site Reliability Engineer (AWS/GCP)

About the role

We are looking for a DevSecOps / Site Reliability Engineer to design, operate, and secure regulated cloud environments on AWS and GCP. The role blends cloud operations, security engineering, and SRE practices to ensure a resilient, compliant, and automated sovereign cloud platform.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage the organization’s sovereign cloud strategy on AWS/GCP, ensuring regulatory and data‑residency compliance.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters, handling upgrades, scaling, and workload optimisation.
• Lead security incident response, investigate cloud security events, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Implement security automation, policy‑driven responses, and DevSecOps best practices.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with Git and GitLab for secure, automated deployments.
• Manage secrets and access controls with HashiCorp Vault.
• Monitor system health with Datadog, define SLIs/SLOs, and drive reliability improvements.
• Handle 24×7 alerting and incident management via PagerDuty, including root‑cause analysis.
• Automate tasks using Python, Bash, Terraform, and Ansible to improve efficiency and platform resilience.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in cloud operations, security, or SRE roles.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking fundamentals, and compliance‑driven environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional incident response and drive continuous improvement.
