Director of Infrastructure

About the role

The Director of Infrastructure leads the infrastructure department, ensuring efficient operations, high‑quality deliverables, and alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. This senior position oversees planning, execution, and continuous improvement of all infrastructure assets and services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the department’s daily operations, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Align departmental activities with corporate strategy and prioritize projects accordingly.
• Develop and monitor departmental plans, reports, and KPIs to ensure accountability.
• Oversee workforce planning, resource allocation, and consultant/contractor management.
• Review, approve, and prioritize technical initiatives, studies, and project proposals.
• Monitor progress of initiatives, ensuring timely and quality execution.
• Lead talent management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, coaching, and succession planning.
• Drive continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and compliance with standards and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Master’s degree in Engineering Management, MBA, Project Management or related field (preferred).
• At least 8 years of experience in infrastructure planning, utilities, capital projects, or asset management.
• Minimum 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, PE, or Asset Management (preferred).
