Director - Operations & Event Delivery

About the role

Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia’s future capital of entertainment, sports and culture, is seeking a Director to lead the planning and execution of event operations across its Cultural and Heritage program. You will ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery of festivals, year‑round programming and large‑scale events that align with the project’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end planning and delivery of all event operations, translating programming, marketing and commercial plans into detailed operational models.
• Develop and manage event schedules, resource requirements and logistics, ensuring seamless execution of programming.
• Oversee site readiness, overlay infrastructure, temporary utilities and transition between events.
• Establish and enforce Health, Safety & Security (HSE) frameworks, crowd‑management, emergency response and incident protocols.
• Ensure a high‑quality visitor experience by managing guest flow, queueing, accessibility and service standards.
• Manage vendors, contractors and service providers, coordinating with procurement and contract teams.
• Conduct operational feasibility assessments and align programming requirements with operational capabilities.
