Edge Site Operations Datacenter Program Manager

About the role

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is seeking an Edge Site Operations Datacenter Program Manager to lead the delivery and lifecycle management of Edge datacenter sites. In this role you will act as the single point of contact for site operations, ensuring reliable, low‑latency connectivity for Microsoft Cloud services worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with partner teams covering contracting, deployment, finance, engineering, security, design, build, and compliance to ensure seamless site operation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with leased‑facility landlords, IT service providers, and internal support teams.
• Plan and monitor physical infrastructure resources required to provide capacity across Edge sites.
• Provide quality control for datacenter‑wide IT maintenance activities across multiple service lines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for major incident response at assigned datacenters and participate in post‑incident reviews.
• Represent Microsoft on‑site, guiding adherence to datacenter policies, procedures, and operational requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of datacenter sites.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across diverse partner teams.
• Ability to act as the single point of escalation for site‑level operational issues.
