Global Manufacturing Quality Assurance Lead

About the role

Lenovo is seeking a Global Manufacturing Quality Assurance Lead to drive systematic audits, continuous improvement, and compliance across its ODM/EMS network. The role will ensure that all in‑process, raw material, and finished‑product inspections meet internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and evaluate regular ODM/EMS audits, and lead corrective actions.
• Synchronize and standardize global quality processes and procedures.
• Develop and implement inspection and testing protocols for raw materials, in‑process items, and finished goods.
• Own all quality issues during mass production, coordinating rapid resolution of carrier audits, OOB inspections, and customer claims.
• Support new production transfers and mass‑production launches, establishing and reviewing manufacturing quality KPIs.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects to enhance EMS manufacturing quality control capabilities.
• Act as a coordinator to resolve conflicts among overseas sites, EMS, and ODM partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing, operations, or quality management within the smartphone industry.
• Hands‑on experience with at least three of the following: manufacturing, SMT, assembly, industrial engineering, testing, NPI, or quality.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and risk‑evaluation skills in dynamic environments.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; Mandarin is a plus.
