Head of Biology & Chemistry – American Curriculum

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Biology & Chemistry to design and lead a new American high‑school program in Saudi Arabia. This senior position will shape curriculum, train teachers, and deliver one online course while operating within a hybrid learning model.

Key responsibilities

• Design Grade 9‑10 Biology and Chemistry curricula, including units, lesson plans, assessments, and homework for Noon’s hybrid platform.
• Lead, train, and support a team of Biology & Chemistry teachers to deliver the curriculum effectively.
• Teach one section of an online Biology or Chemistry course starting in August.
• Continuously adapt and improve instructional materials using digital and AI‑enhanced tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine delivery methods and learning journeys.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing International American high‑school science curricula aligned with CCSS and NGSS.
• Proven ability to teach English‑language learners.
• Recognized teaching qualification (BA/MA in subject area, TESOL, CELTA, etc.).
• Native English speaker from an English‑speaking country.
• Reliable internet connection and professional video setup.
