Incident Response Specialist

About the role

You will join a global security team to respond to cyber incidents affecting our customers. The role demands a diplomatic, articulate professional who can work across time zones and communicate complex technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to global cyber incidents, including off‑hours emergencies.
• Analyze host and network forensic data using tools such as EDR, X‑Ways, Volatility, Cisco Secure Endpoint and Velociraptor.
• Map technical findings to business impact and present them clearly.
• Assist in scoping incidents, gaining consensus on objectives, and collaborating with incident response consultants.
• Conduct threat‑hunting activities and support table‑top exercises and readiness assessments.
• Produce internal and customer‑facing reports, and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop public‑facing content such as blog posts, podcasts, whitepapers or conference presentations.

Required profile

• Charismatic, articulate, and able to act as a diplomatic liaison.
• Continuous learner who shares knowledge and mentors less‑experienced teammates.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to executive and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience participating in consulting projects and improving operational processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with forensic tools: EDR, X‑Ways, Volatility, Cisco Secure Endpoint, Velociraptor.
• Strong network forensic analysis and telemetry interpretation.
• Threat‑hunting techniques and incident response lifecycle knowledge.
• Understanding of the Kill Chain and modern adversary tactics (ransomware, cyber‑crime, hacktivism).
