Legal Senior Specialist – Contracts & Litigation

About the role

The Legal Senior Specialist will lead the development and implementation of streamlined contract processes, ensure compliance with contractual terms, and provide expert support in litigation and dispute resolution. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role safeguards the company’s interests and mitigates legal risks.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain contract templates that comply with regulations and protect company interests.
• Oversee contract preparation for suppliers and service providers, ensuring compliance and project optimization.
• Support business units during contract negotiations and procurement activities.
• Lead the preparation of briefs, complaints, motions, and other court documents.
• Supervise legal document preparation, review, and maintenance.
• Manage litigation and dispute settlement activities, including labor, commercial, and claims matters.
• Collaborate with Legal and GRC teams to integrate standard contract terms and ensure legal compliance.
• Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Assist in designing and delivering legal training and awareness programs across the bank.

Required profile

• Senior‑level legal professional with extensive experience in contract administration and litigation.
• Proven ability to lead legal negotiations and manage dispute resolution processes.
• Strong analytical skills to assess legal risks and provide strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior management and supporting business units.
