Odoo Developer

About the role

Saudi Gold Refinery is looking for an Odoo Developer to design, customize and maintain its ERP platform supporting refining operations, corporate functions and regulatory compliance. The role will translate plant and corporate processes into stable Odoo modules, ensuring accurate tracking of bullion inventory, assay data and procurement workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy custom Odoo modules using Python and XML to track dore bar receipts, refining yields and bullion inventory.
• Design and maintain REST and SOAP connectors that synchronize Odoo with laboratory information systems, weighing hardware and ZATCA e‑invoicing platforms.
• Monitor and optimise PostgreSQL performance through indexing, query tuning and refactoring to achieve sub‑second report generation.
• Configure role‑based permissions, multi‑factor authentication and encrypted data transmission to meet LBMA chain‑of‑custody and internal audit standards.
• Analyse server logs and application stack traces to diagnose incidents and deliver permanent code fixes within SLA.
• Implement automated data pipelines for payroll and regulatory reporting to satisfy Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources requirements.
