Part Time English Teacher

About the role

Food Industries Polytechnic (FIP) is seeking a dedicated part‑time English teacher to help trainees develop strong reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. The role offers flexible scheduling within a positive learning environment and the chance to make a meaningful impact on learners preparing for careers in the food industry.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, trainee‑centered English lessons to diverse learners on a part‑time basis.
• Plan and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals and standards.
• Assess student progress, provide timely feedback and adapt instruction to individual learning needs.
• Manage classroom expectations and maintain an inclusive, positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, coordinators and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and participate in meetings and professional development.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education or a related field.
• Teaching certification or credential as applicable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively on a flexible, part‑time schedule.

Required skills

• Familiarity with digital learning platforms and online teaching tools.
