Planning Manager – Construction & Mining Projects

About the role

The Planning Manager will lead the planning and scheduling function for a green‑field gold mining project in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to project leadership, you will ensure the integrated schedule reflects engineering, procurement, construction and start‑up activities, supporting safe and predictable delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and analyse multi‑discipline project schedules.
• Validate discipline inputs, supervise duration estimates and align them with project milestones.
• Integrate resources – quantities, job hours, manpower and bulk commodities – into the schedule and manage installation curves.
• Perform critical‑path analysis, evaluate variances and produce performance reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction teams and subcontractors to ensure accurate schedule updates.
• Identify schedule risks and develop recovery plans as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading planning and scheduling on large‑scale construction or mining projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret schedule data and forecast impacts.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities across multidisciplinary teams.
