Pool & Beach Attendant

About the role

The Ritz‑Carlton Amaala is seeking a friendly and attentive Pool & Beach Attendant to ensure a clean, safe and welcoming environment for guests enjoying our recreational facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, mop and clean the pool deck and surrounding areas.
• Promote a fun, relaxed atmosphere with an upbeat attitude.
• Monitor guest activities, respond to emergencies according to local procedures, and provide first‑aid assistance until EMS arrives.
• Enforce facility rules and identify unsafe situations, notifying supervisors as needed.
• Collect, fold and stack towels following company standards.
• Report accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and protect company assets.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities and express genuine appreciation.
• Use clear, professional language and maintain positive working relationships.
• Enter and retrieve work‑related information using computers or point‑of‑sale systems.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving and navigating slippery surfaces safely.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to work full‑time in an outdoor, hospitality environment.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb and navigate uneven or wet surfaces.
