Project Control Manager (Solar)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Project Control Manager to lead the planning and control functions for a large‑scale solar project. The role will be responsible for developing baseline schedules, monitoring progress and ensuring timely delivery in line with PPA and EPC contract obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Level 3 baseline schedule and associated project control procedures.
• Analyse contract requirements (PPA, EPC) and implement reporting obligations.
• Track critical‑path activities, set milestones and KPIs to identify and mitigate risks early.
• Prepare and update Level 4 detailed schedules and progress reports.
• Produce weekly and monthly status reports and presentations for the client and internal management.
• Support delay analysis and prepare extension‑of‑time (EOT) claims when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (PMP certification is a plus).
• Minimum 12 years of experience in project planning/scheduling, including at least two full‑cycle projects as Planning Manager.
• Proven experience as a PCM on a renewable project of 300 MW+ in the Middle East or as the second‑in‑charge.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and contract‑driven planning.
• Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder‑management abilities.
