Project Planning & Control Manager

About the role

The Project Planning & Control Manager leads the planning, budgeting and reporting functions for development projects, ensuring that schedules and costs align with overall delivery targets. This role coordinates closely with project managers, contractors and vendors to maintain an accurate master program plan.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a consolidated master schedule and budget, updating it regularly to reflect actual progress.
• Coordinate with delivery teams to identify critical paths, milestones and optimisation opportunities.
• Monitor performance against targets, report deviations, and recommend mitigation actions.
• Manage document control processes, ensuring proper filing, approval and distribution of project documents.
• Lead the department’s strategic planning, resource budgeting and operational performance monitoring.
• Provide regular performance reports to senior management and supervise the Document Control Professional.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 12‑15 years of experience in project planning, control or a similar discipline.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
