Senior Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Business Analyst to own end‑to‑end business analysis and delivery follow‑up. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering, ensuring that product squads stay focused on strategy while you manage requirements, daily stand‑ups, and market benchmarking.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, non‑functional requirements and success metrics.
• Map current‑state and future‑state customer journeys across product areas and maintain a living product backlog in partnership with Product.
• Run daily check‑ins with engineering squads, track tasks in Azure DevOps or Jira, and surface blockers quickly.
• Maintain a single dashboard view of progress per product area for leadership.
• Produce competitor and market benchmark deliverables for new features or enhancements, including screenshots, flow recordings, strengths, weaknesses and recommendations.
• Drive sprint retrospectives and ensure actions are assigned and followed up.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product BA in software product companies.
• Excellent written English for creating PRDs, functional specs and benchmark reports.
• Proven stakeholder management across non‑technical and technical audiences.
• Demonstrable examples of competitive analyses you have authored.

Required skills

• Azure DevOps (work items, sprint boards, backlogs) – power‑user level.
• Jira – power‑user level.
• Replit – building quick interactive prototypes or proof‑of‑concepts.
• Ability to read API specifications and database schemas.
