Senior Healthcare Compliance Manager – Middle East

About the role

The Senior Healthcare Compliance Manager for the Middle East will act as the Healthcare Compliance Officer for DePuy Synthes’ Orthopedics business across the region. Reporting to regional leadership, the role provides strategic and operational compliance guidance to ensure ethical conduct, risk mitigation, and adherence to local healthcare laws and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of healthcare compliance strategies aligned with global and regional priorities.
• Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks related to commercial, promotional, and professional‑education activities.
• Provide proactive guidance to business leaders on compliance requirements and ethical decision‑making.
• Embed effective compliance controls into business processes and go‑to‑market models.
• Oversee core compliance programs, including training, monitoring, risk assessments, and issue management.
• Support investigations, audits, and interactions with regulators or health authorities in partnership with Legal.
• Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends across the Middle East.
• Prepare and present risk assessments, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in healthcare compliance, preferably within medical‑device or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Middle‑East healthcare regulations and industry standards.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
