Site / Project Engineer – Civil (Substations)

About the role

The Site / Project Engineer – Civil (Substations) will lead civil construction activities for high‑voltage and medium‑voltage substations. The role ensures that all works are executed to approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project timelines while coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil works for substation infrastructure, including foundations for transformers, circuit breakers, CTs, VTs, and other equipment.
• Ensure all activities follow approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules.
• Monitor daily construction progress and align it with project milestones.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, and site labor throughout the construction phase.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and commissioning teams to prepare civil works for equipment installation.
• Collaborate with design engineers to resolve on‑site technical issues.
• Participate in progress, technical, and safety meetings.
• Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Guarantee compliance with relevant civil construction standards and project specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in civil construction, preferably on power projects or substations.
• Demonstrated experience with substation civil works, power plants, or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
