A/C Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic A/C Technician to join our hotel maintenance team. You will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing temperature and air‑quality control systems to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems (freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, chillers, etc.).
• Perform preventive maintenance on all air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
• Check performance of refrigeration components, door closing systems, defrosting mechanisms, and automation of ice makers.
• Respond to maintenance requests from all hotel departments and ensure routine cleaning of fan coil and air‑handling unit filters.
• Monitor air‑conditioning and chilled water system performance and cooperate with engineering colleagues to diagnose failures.
• Control venting of CFCs, overhaul equipment, and verify refrigeration and oil levels.
• Coordinate parts purchases with the Engineering Storekeeper and comply with local technical regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in refrigeration systems maintenance or building services engineering.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Good command of English and strong fault‑finding abilities.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, adaptable, and able to stay calm under pressure.
