A/C Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated A/C Technician to join our hotel maintenance team. You will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing temperature and air‑quality control systems to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems, including freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, and chillers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment throughout the hotel.
• Check performance of refrigeration components, door‑closing systems, defrosting mechanisms, and automation of ice makers.
• Respond to maintenance requests from all departments and ensure routine cleaning of fan coil and air‑handling unit filters.
• Monitor air‑conditioning and chilled‑water system performance and cooperate with engineering colleagues to diagnose failures.
• Control venting of CFCs, overhaul equipment, check oil and refrigerant levels, and manage major repairs.
• Coordinate parts purchases with the engineering storekeeper and ensure all work complies with local technical regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in refrigeration systems maintenance or building services engineering.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a hotel or similar facility.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to identify faults and rectify subsystems efficiently.
