Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to manage and reconcile accounts across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and the General Ledger within Alfa Laval’s finance shared services environment. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, supports continuous improvement and collaborates with finance partners globally.

Key responsibilities

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile domestic supplier invoices, intercompany transactions and GL entries, including suspense accounts and IFRS 16 schedules.
• Prepare and file VAT returns, manage tax documentation for audits, and handle payroll, leave and bonus journal postings using Scala.
• Process Concur expense transactions, reconcile related GL accounts, and manage company credit cards.
• Support month‑end close activities such as accruals, interest postings on lease liabilities, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist finance manager with audit preparation, supplier onboarding and providing financial information to sales and service teams.
