Accountant – Operations

About the role

The Accountant‑Operations will support the day‑to‑day execution of general ledger processes, providing accurate accounting services and assisting clients in understanding these processes. This full‑time position focuses on account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting and resolving discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement accounting projects and SOP audits across the property.
• Generate timely reports and presentations, analyze data, and propose solutions.
• Compile, code, audit, and verify financial information, including credit‑card ledger balances.
• Verify contracts, perform credit reference checks for direct‑billed groups when needed.
• Maintain accurate profit and loss documentation, monitor applicable taxes, and ensure a strong control environment.
• Complete period‑end functions and provide guidance on accounting and budgeting policies.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (no experience required) OR a 2‑year degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
