Accounting Manager – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Boston Scientific is seeking an Accounting Manager for its Saudi Arabia operations. The role leads the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local and US regulations, and supporting the company’s finance strategy in a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets and month‑end activities.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close processes in line with corporate timelines.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for decision‑making and statutory compliance.
• Handle cash management, banking relationships, treasury activities and working‑capital monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Saudi accounting standards, VAT and tax regulations.
• Coordinate intercompany accounting and financial flows with international entities.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and support internal and external audits.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives, process optimisation and SAP S/4HANA enhancements.
• Partner with FP&A, GBS, supply chain, HR and regional finance teams.
• Coach and mentor the accounting team to foster a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., SOCPA).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, Saudi accounting standards and tax regulations.
