Accounting Specialist

About the role

The Accounting Specialist will supervise revenue accounting, invoice payments, payroll processing, fixed assets accounting, and general ledger activities in line with approved policies and procedures. This role ensures accurate financial reporting and supports cash operations across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise revenue accounting, invoice processing, and payroll to ensure compliance with policies.
• Develop schedules and systems for timely financial data accumulation, adjustments, and reporting.
• Monitor revenue collection, handle bad debts, and reconcile collection channels with IT systems.
• Consolidate revenue reports and participate in monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting cycles.
• Prepare bank transfer requests, process payments, and manage petty cash reconciliation.
• Oversee fixed‑assets accounting, establish coding standards, and ensure proper depreciation.
• Maintain General Ledger setup, validate journal entries, and ensure subsystem balances align with the GL.
• Provide detailed closing instructions and support the preparation of financial statements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
