AI Infrastructure and Platform Operations Resident

About the role

Avensys is seeking an experienced AI Infrastructure and Platform Operations Resident to manage and optimise AI compute resources for a high‑profile client in Riyadh. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end lifecycle of servers, GPUs, storage, and networking components that power critical AI workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Kubernetes clusters, namespaces, and GPU resource pools (Run:ai, H200 inference, H200 fine‑tuning, L40S RAG).
• Monitor and maintain GPU health, utilisation, capacity, and workload placement.
• Manage server and storage lifecycle, including BCM provisioning, patching, upgrades, backup and recovery.
• Support NVAIE, NIM and Triton endpoints, troubleshooting AI‑network, storage and GPU‑fabric issues.
• Coordinate firmware, driver, OS and Kubernetes maintenance with change‑control processes.
• Provide first‑line incident triage, impact assessment, escalation and post‑incident improvement actions.
• Maintain runbooks for cluster health, provisioning, workload submission and recovery procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in AI infrastructure operations.
• Strong background in Kubernetes administration and GPU orchestration.
• Hands‑on experience with PowerEdge servers, PowerScale F210/OneFS storage, and AI networking technologies (RoCE/RDMA).
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale AI resource pools, quotas and fair‑share scheduling.
