Area Maintenance Foreman – Petrochemical Plant

About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking an Area Maintenance Foreman to oversee daily corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance of mechanical, electrical and rotating equipment at a petrochemical plant. The role ensures that all contractor activities comply with safety, environmental and quality standards, guaranteeing plant availability and operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all maintenance jobs assigned to contractors for mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems in line with company standards.
• Report maintenance execution regularly in the CMMS system for the SATORP plant.
• Support planning and scheduling supervisors and assist the reliability department with bad‑actor analysis.
• Prepare weekly reports and present them in maintenance meetings.
• Coordinate job‑specific training with HR to enhance personnel knowledge.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety requirements during job execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of oil & gas maintenance experience (high school level), 10 years with a diploma, or 7 years with a bachelor’s degree.
• Strong knowledge of refinery equipment and maintenance contract management.
• Proven leadership abilities in large, multicultural organizations.
• Ability to make sound judgments under pressure and resolve problems strategically.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CMMS systems for maintenance tracking.
• Instrumentation knowledge for petrochemical equipment.
• Experience managing maintenance contracts.
• Understanding of safety rules and regulations.
