Assistant Manager – Space Planning & Store Productivity

About the role

Nam Arabia is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead space allocation, store productivity and planogram strategies across its retail formats. The role connects sales, margin, inventory and customer demand with practical store layouts and category space allocation to maximise commercial return per square metre.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales, margin, inventory, stock turn and SKU productivity by store and category.
• Develop space allocation models by category, sub‑category, brand and store format.
• Identify over‑spaced and under‑spaced categories and recommend corrective actions.
• Create store zoning, category adjacencies and customer flow plans.
• Build and manage planograms, shelf allocation, facings and fixture capacity.
• Support new store openings, refurbishments and re‑layouts, including temporary space plans for campaigns.
• Measure commercial impact of space initiatives and continuously improve productivity.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of experience in retail space planning, category space management or merchandise planning.
• Experience in multi‑store environments, preferably in beauty, fashion, lifestyle or department stores.
• GCC/Saudi retail experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills with advanced Excel capability.
