Assistant Security Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Assistant Security Manager to support the Security Manager at Raffles The Red Sea, a luxury resort in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. The role ensures a safe environment for guests, staff and assets by overseeing daily security operations and implementing robust protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining security policies, procedures and protocols aligned with Saudi regulations and international hospitality standards.
• Supervise and coordinate security staff, including scheduling, training, performance monitoring and regular briefings.
• Monitor CCTV, access‑control and alarm systems to ensure optimal functionality and coverage.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and threat analyses, recommending corrective actions.
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies and guest concerns, documenting all events and preparing detailed reports.
• Patrol the resort property to verify compliance with security protocols and identify potential risks.
• Coordinate with local law‑enforcement and emergency services as required.
• Maintain accurate security logs, incident reports and personnel records.
• Organise security training programmes and drills for staff and guests.
• Analyse security data and trends to optimise operations and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of security management experience, preferably in hospitality or luxury resort environments.
• Proven experience supervising and leading security teams.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian security regulations and international hospitality standards.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse security threats and develop effective response strategies.
• Excellent incident response and crisis‑management capabilities.
