Associate Cybersecurity Analyst

About the role

The Associate Cybersecurity Analyst will support JHAH’s cybersecurity framework by implementing, maintaining, and monitoring security technologies. This entry‑level position offers the opportunity to work with a range of security tools and contribute to protecting sensitive data and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, configure, maintain, support and monitor firewalls, antivirus, encryption protocols, intrusion detection systems, access management and network monitoring solutions.
• Operate and sustain Security Operations Center (SOC) systems to ensure reliability, scalability and optimal performance.
• Manage governance, risk management and compliance programs, enforcing policies, standards and incident‑response plans through assessments, drills and awareness campaigns.
• Detect, investigate and respond to security incidents, intrusions, breaches, threats and vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with external vendors for cybersecurity services, ensuring scope, timeline, cost and quality objectives are met.
• Process cybersecurity aspects of IT demand requests and support approved projects following the organization’s IT project management framework.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISM, GSEC, PMP or ITIL are preferred.
• No minimum years of experience required; entry‑level candidates are encouraged to apply.
