Audit Manager – Professional Practice (DPP)

About the role

KPMG is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join its Department of Professional Practice (DPP) within the Audit Methodology team. The role supports audit engagement teams across the Middle East by providing technical guidance, developing resources, and promoting consistent audit quality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in responding to technical inquiries and consultations from engagement teams.
• Research and analyse complex auditing matters across various industries.
• Develop audit technical guidance, work‑papers, templates and tailored training materials.
• Monitor new and updated standards, methodology and related resources.
• Support audit quality initiatives and collaborate on strategic regional projects.
• Perform duties required by the System of Quality Management.
• Stay up‑to‑date with developments in audit methodology and standards.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
• Minimum 6 years of progressive external audit experience with a Big Four or leading international audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities, working independently and in teams.
• Excellent communication, project management and presentation skills.
