Banquets Operation Manager

About the role

The Banquets Operation Manager oversees daily banquet and event services within a hotel, ensuring meetings, conferences, weddings and special events are delivered smoothly and professionally. The role works closely with Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Sales and Events teams to guarantee service excellence and a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all banquet operations and event service activities, ensuring setups meet guest requirements and hotel standards.
• Coordinate with Sales, Events and Culinary teams to deliver successful events.
• Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction throughout functions.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and service standards.
• Prepare staffing schedules, train, coach and evaluate banquet team members.
• Oversee banquet equipment, inventories and supplies, ensuring compliance with health, safety and hotel policies.
• Control labor and operational costs while achieving departmental revenue targets.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Prepare operational reports and recommend continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in banquet or food & beverage operations within a hotel environment, with prior supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events.

• Proficiency in hotel management systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
