About the role

As a Business Development Manager at Shangri‑La Jeddah, you will drive local and international sales for the hotel’s rooms, suites, serviced apartments and all revenue centres. Reporting to the Director of Sales and the Director of Business Development, you will create and execute strategies that generate sustainable, profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and maximise upselling opportunities for individual and group travel.
  • Develop and implement business development plans that increase room and ancillary revenue.
  • Maintain high visibility of the hotel in target markets through direct sales, telephone, fax and written communication.
  • Apply hotel sales policies and procedures consistently.
  • Collaborate with all hotel departments to ensure alignment with sales programmes and guest expectations.
  • Foster teamwork with the sales team, events management, communications and reservations to achieve overall sales targets.
  • Uphold professional standards and compliance with hotel guidelines.

Required profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel sales and marketing.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
  • Willingness to work long hours as needed.
  • Neat, articulate appearance and professional demeanor.
