Business Operations Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Business Operations Specialist to support the Senior Director of Operations within our Technology Solutions unit. Based in Al Khobar, the role involves regular travel across Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Iraq, providing direct exposure to senior leadership and multi‑site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Executive Support: coordinate and follow‑up on key operational and strategic initiatives.
• Progress Chasing: track actions with project and functional managers to ensure timely delivery.
• Financial Analysis: interpret financial data, support cost reviews, forecasts and planning cycles.
• Business Metrics: create, analyse and report dashboards for performance monitoring.
• Presentation Development: prepare executive‑level presentations and reports for internal and external audiences.
• Business Development: assist in bid preparation, client engagement and commercial proposal reviews.
• Stakeholder Engagement: independently progress issues, often interacting with senior stakeholders.
• Travel & Site Engagement: visit project sites in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iraq to gather on‑ground insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, MIS or a related discipline (Engineering preferred).
• 3‑5 years of experience in a business‑facing function such as finance, procurement, operations or bidding.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret and challenge financial information.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, confident when engaging senior leaders.
