Charity Fundraiser (Remote, Full‑time)

About the role

The Charity Fundraiser will work remotely on a full‑time basis to design and execute fundraising strategies that support Wendi Foundation’s education and community development programmes. You will research donors, build relationships, and create compelling proposals and campaign materials that align with the organisation’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential individual, corporate and institutional donors.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors through personalized communications.
• Prepare persuasive grant proposals, appeals and fundraising campaign content.
• Plan, organise and run virtual fundraising events and online campaigns.
• Maintain accurate donor records and track contributions using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with program and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Monitor fundraising performance, generate reports and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fundraising, development or resource mobilisation for non‑profit organisations.
• Strong written communication skills for grant proposals and donor outreach.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Commitment to the mission of community development and youth empowerment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM or donor management tools.
• Competence in spreadsheets and basic data analysis.
