About the role

The Jumeirah Jabal Omar Hotel in Makkah is seeking a Commis 1 for its kitchen team. This entry‑level position supports food preparation, ensures high standards of quality and presentation, and works closely with senior kitchen staff to deliver a diverse culinary experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, measure, mix and prepare meal ingredients, sauces and seasonings.
• Wash, peel and chop vegetables, fruits and meat as required.
• Cut, season and marinate various meats according to established recipes.
• Prepare salads, sauces and plated dishes with precise presentation.
• Maintain proper stock levels in refrigerators and freezers and document inventory.
