Construction Supervisor

About the role

Saudi Gold Refinery is seeking a Construction Supervisor in Saudi Arabia to oversee civil and structural works for its refinery and CIL plant expansion projects. The role ensures that all construction activities comply with strict safety, quality and regulatory standards and reports directly to the Engineering & Projects Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily construction activities for civil, structural and mechanical works in line with approved engineering designs.
• Enforce Permit‑to‑Work systems and safety regulations to maintain a zero‑harm environment.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to verify compliance with SASO standards and project specifications.
• Monitor contractor manpower and productivity to meet weekly construction targets.
• Resolve site‑level technical conflicts by coordinating with the engineering team and reviewing design drawings.
• Submit accurate daily and weekly progress reports tracking physical completion against the project baseline.
• Coordinate delivery and storage of construction materials to avoid site congestion and damage.
• Prepare and validate as‑built drawings and quality records for smooth handover to operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in industrial construction projects.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale civil and structural works in a mining or refinery environment.
