About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team at our hotel in Makkah. The successful candidate will prepare and cook a variety of dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients – portion, chop, wash, peel, weigh, measure and store food items.
• Cook foods according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, including hot and cold dishes.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely.
• Test and monitor food temperatures to ensure proper cooking and safety.
• Set‑up and break down work stations, serve food in correct portions and maintain clean, sanitized work areas.
• Check appliance and food temperatures, follow safety policies and report any hazards.
• Perform physical tasks required in a kitchen environment, including lifting up to 25 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related kitchen experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to follow company safety, security and hygiene policies.
• Professional appearance and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Food preparation techniques (chopping, portioning, measuring).
• Food safety and temperature monitoring.
