Data Center Facility Engineer – AWS

About the role

Amazon Web Services is seeking a hands‑on Data Center Facility Engineer to support and maintain world‑class mechanical and electrical infrastructure in its Saudi Arabia data centers. You will be part of a diverse team that ensures continuous, safe, and cost‑effective operation of power and cooling systems for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment such as UPS, switchgear, circuit breakers, and automatic transfer switches.
• Maintain and service mechanical systems including HVAC, chillers, exhaust fans, transformers, and diesel generators.
• Implement and monitor safety procedures, lead remediation of safety risks, and promote a strong safety culture.
• Respond to operational incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and execute corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure facility reliability and compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in data‑center or industrial facility operations.
• Hands‑on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Process‑oriented mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
• Ability to work onsite in a fast‑paced environment.
