Director, Forensics & Financial Crime Compliance

About the role

EY’s Forensic & Integrity Services team is seeking a Director to lead high‑impact projects in financial crime compliance, regulatory risk and forensic investigations. Based in Riyadh, you will work with senior client executives to design and implement robust compliance frameworks that protect reputation and mitigate risk.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team delivering strategic sourcing, regulatory compliance and financial crime compliance services.
• Manage multiple client engagement teams at an executive level, overseeing internal control testing, audit planning and outsourcing of internal audit services.
• Assess client SOX frameworks and internal controls, providing recommendations to reduce organizational and strategic risks.
• Develop and present proposals for complex, high‑value projects, contributing commercial insights and thought leadership.
• Guide and mentor team members on complex, judgmental issues while ensuring adherence to professional standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in forensic investigations, financial crime compliance, and regulatory risk management.
• Proven ability to lead senior‑level client relationships and manage large, cross‑functional engagement teams.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance, enterprise risk management and internal audit methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of SOX frameworks and internal control environments.
• Expertise in financial crime compliance, fraud risk assessments and regulatory investigations.
• Ability to design and implement compliance programs and risk‑mitigation strategies.
