Domain Consultant – Downstream Oil & Gas (L3)

About the role

The Domain Consultant (L3) will lead domain‑led transformation initiatives for downstream oil & gas clients. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee delivery governance, guide forecasting and optimisation projects, and drive revenue growth across enterprise engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve deliverables of domain transformation programmes, ensuring quality and alignment with business objectives.
• Analyse market data, benchmark processes and develop forecasting models and cost‑benefit analyses.
• Lead optimisation and solution initiatives, maintaining governance, quality standards and value creation for clients.
• Supervise and mentor consulting teams, conduct performance reviews and support professional development.
• Oversee technical documentation, guaranteeing functional accuracy and consistency with domain standards.
• Monitor project financials, optimise resource utilisation and achieve defined margin targets.
• Identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to RFP discussions.
• Create thought‑leadership assets such as whitepapers, reusable frameworks and knowledge bases.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in downstream oil & gas consulting or related domains.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale transformation or optimisation projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in forecasting, cost‑benefit analysis and benchmarking.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for business audiences.
