Electrical Commissioning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to lead the commissioning of low‑voltage (LV) and medium‑voltage (MV) power systems in our data centre facilities across Saudi Arabia. The role involves ensuring reliable power delivery, emergency power readiness, and fire‑life safety integration in line with Tier III standards.

Key responsibilities

• Commission LV and MV distribution systems, including UPS, STS, PDU, RPP, generators and associated fuel systems.
• Perform functional testing of power distribution networks and emergency power scenarios.
• Validate compliance with Tier III concurrent maintainability requirements.
• Commission fire and life‑safety systems such as VESDA, clean‑agent (Novec/FM‑200) fire alarms and interlocks with MEP systems.
• Execute integrated life‑safety testing during IST (Integrated System Test) scenarios.
• Apply NFPA, local civil‑defense and other international standards throughout all commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in data‑centre power and safety system commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, local civil‑defense regulations and international standards.
• Familiarity with Tier III concurrent maintainability concepts.
