Electrical Construction Manager – BESS Projects

About the role

Support the Construction Manager in executing all electrical construction activities for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, ensuring safe, timely, quality and compliant execution according to approved drawings, specifications and schedules. The role involves coordinating with civil, mechanical, engineering, QA/QC, HSE and procurement teams while supervising subcontractors on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate electrical installation activities for BESS, including MV/LV systems, transformers, PCS/inverters, switchgear, cables, earthing and auxiliary systems.
• Plan and monitor daily and weekly construction activities against the approved schedule.
• Supervise subcontractors, monitor manpower, materials, equipment and productivity.
• Ensure installations comply with drawings, specifications, standards and client requirements.
• Review method statements, ITPs and risk assessments for electrical works.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, NCR resolution and punch‑point closure with QA/QC.
• Support pre‑commissioning, commissioning and energisation activities.
• Maintain progress reports, site records and as‑built documentation while ensuring strict HSE compliance.
