Engagement Manager – Prototyping AI & Customer Engineering

About the role

You will join the AWS PACE (Prototyping and Customer Engineering) team in Riyadh as an Engagement Manager, helping Saudi enterprises turn ambitious ideas into working proof‑points on AWS. You operate at the intersection of business strategy and emerging AI technologies, guiding customers from initial conversation through to a functional prototype and a clear path to production.

Key responsibilities

• Build and pilot a pipeline of high‑value innovation opportunities across KSA and the GCC, focusing on generative AI and cloud‑native architectures.
• Qualify opportunities rigorously, ensuring real business outcomes, committed customers, and viable production paths.
• Scope time‑boxed engagements with clear success criteria, working backwards from customer outcomes.
• Drive engagements from kickoff to close, coordinating customer developers, AWS architects, and partners while mitigating risk.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping them navigate generational technology shifts.
• Package repeatable motions and share best practices across the global PACE community.
• Represent customer insights internally to influence AWS service roadmaps.
