Fire & Security Systems Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Fire & Security Systems Engineer to manage operation and maintenance of fire detection and integrated security systems for critical infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures system reliability, supports integration of fire and security solutions, and works within 24/7 operational environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Edwards EST3 and EST4 fire alarm systems.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance according to defined schedules.
• Troubleshoot fire alarm loops, devices and panel‑level faults.
• Maintain and support IP‑based CCTV, Lenel or ATS access‑control, and intrusion detection systems.
• Monitor and investigate alarms from centralized control rooms.
• Ensure proper integration between fire and security systems.
• Support field teams (ML1) and coordinate with OEM/vendors (ML3).
• Maintain accurate documentation, logs and technical reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire and security systems, with hands‑on experience on Edwards EST3/EST4.
• Experience with integrated security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection) and control‑room environments.
• Strong understanding of system integration, alarm management and networking (TCP/IP, RS‑485, fiber).
• Ability to work in 24/7 critical‑operations settings and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in railway, metro or large‑infrastructure projects and relevant certifications (NFPA, Lenel) are a plus.
