Flight Simulator Technician (FSTD)

About the role

Join CAE Middle East as a Flight Simulator Technician supporting Riyadh Air's new training centre. You will work with advanced flight simulators, performing maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and visual alignments on flight simulators.
• Diagnose and correct technical problems using test equipment.
• Record and track activities in the maintenance management system.
• Execute pre‑flight and post‑flight checks, run automatic Qualification Test Guides.
• Assist with hardware refurbishments, modifications and logistics of parts.
• Provide customer service support and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Comply with CAE quality, health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• 2‑year technical degree or 4 years related experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in electronic, avionic or similar environments.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and interpret schematics.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Analog and digital theory.
• Logic Analyzer operation.
• Oscilloscope, multi‑meter and signal generator usage.
• Soldering and circuit board repairs.
• Operating test equipment and maintenance management system.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of flight simulator systems and equipment.
