Fund Accounting Officer

About the role

State Street is seeking a Fund Accounting Officer to lead the day‑to‑day fund accounting administration for its Middle‑East client portfolio. Based in Riyadh, the role combines operational oversight with staff management and serves as the senior escalation point for both internal and client queries.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee fund valuations and ensure all NAV checks, benchmark comparisons and reasonability reports are completed accurately.
• Maintain managerial oversight of the Fund Group’s operations, acting as the primary escalation point for technical issues.
• Ensure a trained and competent team is available to meet service level agreements and quality standards.
• Monitor errors, potential losses or breaches, document incidents and drive remediation and training actions.
• Participate in service calls, project planning and act as the main liaison for fund accounting activities.
• Continuously review the operating environment and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months of fund accounting experience, preferably in a managerial capacity.
• Fluent in Arabic and English to handle translation of statements and client communications.
• Proven ability to manage, coach and develop staff.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in overseeing NAV calculations and compliance checks.
